Inspired by "Alice in Wonderland" and it's surrealism, I wanted to create my own world of wonder through an outlandish still life composition. As the portrait in the frame serves as a pop of color to this world of grey, he breaks the fourth wall and stares at us, almost as if he has something to say. Maybe he knows why the elephant is passed out on the ground like that.
