Koi fish have always been an enigma to me. I have only ever seen them in man-made ponds and never in the wild. In this piece, koi fish is depicted emerging out of a broken laundry machine that once restored items to their original condition. Although the laundry machine has lost it's original purpose, it has now become a home to the koi fish, symbolizing a rebirth and new beginning.
